Here at Specialty Engraving, we consider ourselves more than an awards company. We are always looking for ways to help our clients get more out of their awards ceremonies. That’s one reason we wanted to let our clients know we now have a vendor partner for live streaming award ceremonies.
Through live streaming on your company’s website or Facebook page, you are sharing this meaningful experience with a much larger audience of family and friends and helping your award participants feel even more excited about the recognition. Many companies and associations are now live streaming award ceremonies on Facebook and creating interaction for their friends and family who couldn’t make it.
Live streaming helps companies get their brand out to a larger audience, helps award recipients share the experience with the people closest to them, and it helps the sponsors reach more people. It’s a win all the way around and something to consider for your next award ceremony.
Here are a few things to consider if you would like to live stream your awards ceremony.
1. Do you already have sponsors for the event and might they be willing to underwrite the additional cost?
2. Would you get any benefit from your associates posting the short video clip of them accepting their award on social media?
3. Would your company benefit from having its award ceremony on your Facebook page, shared on
your associates’ Facebook pages and your partner’s or sponsor’s Facebook pages?
If you feel the addition of live streaming could make your award ceremony even more meaningful for your associates, here’s an idea about pricing.
Professional live streaming usually requires at least two cameras and a director on site. It can range from $3,000 to around $5,000. You’ll want to promote the live stream through email and your Facebook page and then use the short individual video clips on your social media.
Our vendor partner for live streaming is Pro Video Talent, a full service video production company whose clients include The Home Depot, The American Cancer Society, and The National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
